Clark and office memoranda. * World War II material, 1939-1945: includes typescript of Ed Murrow's broadcast from Germany, typescript by Richard Dimbleby concerning his visit to the Belsen Concentration Camp and minute of meeting concerning D Day celebrations. * Typescripts of Howlett's broadcasts, photographs and other papers relating to Howlett's journey to Sydney aboard the Imperial Airways Flying Boat Service, 1938. * Typescripts of miscellaneous broadcasts, including "Growing up with radio"

Radio broadcaster and producer. Howlett was born in Temora, New South Wales in 1906. She came to London in 1935 and began working for the British Broadcasting Corporation. She worked for the Corporation, as typist, broadcaster and producer, until her retirement in 1967. In 1938 Howlett was selected to represent the BBC aboard the inaugural flight of the Imperial Airways flying boat service to Sydney. She died in London in 1994.
